London treasures

Hier mijn 'schatten' uit Londen. Ik heb mooie kleding gekocht bij Anthropologie en ook de twee geborduurde theedoeken en het vintage zwart-wit zeepblikje.

Deze theedoek is toch veel te mooi om te gebruiken! Hij is eerst geprint en daarna eroverheen geborduurd. Ik denk dat ik ze ophang of er kussenhoesjes van ga maken.

Deze vintage wasknijpers komen van een heel leuke winkel: Labour and wait, deze winkel zit een opkomend artistiek buurtje; Shoreditch, in de Redchurch street 85, vlak in de buurt bij het geweldige Albion Cafe. (4 Boundary street)

Plakband met uiltjes van Habitat. Eindelijk eens leuk plakband om enveloppen of pakjes mee dicht te plakken.

Dit boek en haakpatroon kocht in in een geweldige winkel in Islington; The Make Lounge. Het is even een eindje lopen vanaf de metro, maar je vindt er alle nieuwe crafts boeken en materialen als stoffen, haakgaren en patronen. Ook geven ze workshops.

Het haakpatroon is van Reeneegurumi en dit heb ik gewoon gekocht omdat het er zo leuk uitziet. Heel misschien ga ik m'n haaknaalden weer eens uit de mottenballen halen...

Op de London Craft Fair ontmoette ik Becky Adams; zij maakt echte kunstwerkjes van stof en papier. Veel geborduurd in een vintage collage stijl. Ik heb haar boekje gekocht, echt een aanrader.

 De porseleinen vlinders aan ijzerdraad zijn van Hanne Rysgaard.

Zij stond ook op de Craft Fair met ceramiek.

Er zijn stukjes kant in het porselein gedrukt (wat me weer doet denken aan mijn kleifiguurtjes uit het Eline's Huis boek) en als je ze ophangt schijnt het licht er een beetje doorheen. Erg mooi.
